About Me;
My name is Ken Jarvis, I am 56 years old and live in Southern Ontario in the Town of Whitchurch/Stouffville. Photography is a passion of mine and I do it for the relaxation, fun and enjoyment. Photography is not my full time business, it’s a hobby that I take seriously and enjoy very much. I consider myself to be an above average amateur photographer or semi-professional. I came up with this rating based on this article. Even though I have been taking photos for many years I became deeply involved in photography since 2002. I have no formal training in photography however I am constantly learning new techniques and I keep up with the latest photo editing software. I am always trying to improve my photo skills by reading other photographers articles either online or in photo magazines.

I enjoy taking photos for others and working on event photography. See "My Services" page for more information. I try to enter any photo contest that comes along whether it be online in magazines or in books. I am a member of the Markham Arts Council and listed under the photographers category.
